For student science and STEM enthusiasts out there, we have a compilation of science-themed LEGO® activities for you this week as we continue our 60 Educational LEGO® Activities for Kids blog series.
This week’s activities are for kids ranging from elementary to high school, and some of the activities for the older kids may even prove useful for science fair projects or homework assignments! All of the activities this week offer a fun way of learning scientific principles using the power of the LEGO® brick.
Brick Scholars believes in hands-on learning and the power of play (also known as Constructionism). All of our programs utilize Constructionism to share the wonder of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math). Our programs aren’t just for kids, either. We offer LEGO® Serious Play® workshops for adults, as well as professional development workshops for educators and youth leaders. Contact Brick Scholars for more information about our adult workshops. Also, visit our website to view our upcoming kids programs scheduled for this summer at the ECU/NC State Collaborative in Rocky Mount and Imagination Station in Wilson.
